Anisten & Emily at 4 Days Old

Anisten and Emily were born on July 28, 2011. These pictures were taken when they were only 4 days old. I love the smell and feel of a brand new baby...one of my favorites!  They are beautiful twin sisters who are unique in their own sweet way.  Emily Claire is the the tiniest of the two and loves to be awake :) She looks just like her daddy, is the oldest by one minute and is usually wearing pink. Anisten is the sleeper and the youngest by one minute. She looks like her mommy and has the sweetest round cheeks!  Did I mention that they were born on their Aunt Kim's birthday? I am certain that was her favorite birthday present!  Thank you Christie for entrusting me to photograph them.  I hope these images will remind you of moments that will soon fly by! -a

A Long Way From Home - Little Rock, Arkansas Family

Living near Myrtle Beach, SC has many benefits...palm trees, sweet tea, seafood, warm ocean water, that adorable southern accent and of course the sandy shores of the Carolinas. Every now and again I get the pleasure to meet out-of-towners who come here to make memories. On the first morning of July I met the sweet Harris family from Little Rock, Arkansas.  Now, I have to admit, one of my dearest friends is from Little Rock and I have been blessed to know her for over 8 years.  In those 8 years her love for the Arkansas Razorbacks has rubbed off on me and I can proudly say that I can sing the Razorback fight song...word-for-word with the best of 'em :).....Go Pig Sooooiiiieeeee!!!!  The first thing I uttered out of my mouth as I approached the Harris family on the Carolina shore was, "Are y'all Razorback fans?" and their face said it all, "Yes!".  I knew from that moment on this was going to be a good, fun, and memorable shoot...and it was!  Thanks Harris family for being so kind, cooperative, and flexible with me....that is every photographers dream! I hope you got a good dose of southern hospitality here in Myrtle Beach and I hope Myrtle Beach got a good dose of Razorback! Much love, -a

Vivien Mae: daughter, sister, fighter, survivor, and heart breaker

Vivien Mae is the third child of Mike and Julie Clardy.  Her sweet disposition, kissable cheeks and love for life are obvious.  What is not obvious is the fight for life she and her family has endured since she was born.  Vivien Mae has no current diagnosis...I would beg to differ, she is diagnosed with cuteness and love.  Her story is one for the record books and a story that one day will have the most glorious ending.  I can not wait to watch Vivien Mae flower blossom into her future. Happy First Birthday!   Much love Clardy family, -aunt may

Hayley & KC Staples say 'I Do'

If there ever was a 'happily ever after' this is it...Congrats Hayley & KC on their April 23rd, 2011 wedding!  These pictures have started much conversation...everyone has commented on the beauty of the bride, the style of the wedding, those infamous handmade groomsmen pants, and the amazing scenery!  Hayley and KC are intentional in everything they do...their jobs, their friendships, and their love for each other.  I pray that their marriage will flourish into all that God has intended it to be.  I am honored and humbled that you would have me capture these special moments...Much appreciation and love! -a

Mr. & Mrs. Reyes

Rich and Sandy Reyes are blessed.  Not only do they have each other as best friends they also work as teachers in the same school.  They share the love of teaching and working with children. Their love story begins years ago and continues in the pictures below.  Thanks for letting me be a part of your big day.  It was an elegant wedding with many memories! Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Reyes!

Baby Boy Nolan Woods

Nolan Woods is about as cute as a little boy can get...just look at those dreamy eyes and precious dimples!!!  The first time I saw Baby Nolan I knew that I had to photograph him!  He was such a trooper during this photoshoot...he let me put him in a girly field of flowers and hang him in a pouch from a tree branch.  He smiled and grinned from start to finish. I was hoping maybe I could take him home for a few hours but I know his mommy wanted him in her arms.  Watch out LaShauntra, he will be a heartbreaker!

Lil' Miss Matison Cooper - Born February 18, 2011

Matison Cooper has got to be one of the tiniest lil' ones I know.  Her name comes from her uncle Matt.  I think he is proud to share his name with such a lil' blessing. Mati was born a few weeks early but was very healthy and ready to go home after a few days in the hospital.  She was born on my son's birthday, February 18th, a very special day in my heart.  Matison is the first born child to Caleb and Catherine Cooper and the first grandchild to David and Pansy Cooper.  She is a beauty!
