I prefer to photograph life in natural settings with natural lighting. The great outdoors offers the best backdrop and scenery for photographs. The natural textures of tall grass, flowers, sand, water and greenery bring interest and dimension into photographs. Brick, metal or old wooden buildings create drama in photographs and are wonderful locations for all styles of portraits. I prefer to photograph in the early morning or late evening when the sun has a warm glow, it is the perfect lighting!
I do not print photographs or sale photographs, I simply photograph your needs and you receive full rights to your photographs on a CD. This allows you to print them where you choose and this also allows you to use them online. All photos will be given to you approximately 2 weeks after photo shoot (usually sooner).
Photo Session Ideas:
Wardrobe:::Keep it real, be who you are. It is always a good idea for the clothing style to be complimentary but it does NOT have to be matchy-matchy. Bring texture to your wardrobe, layer your clothing, think BIG on accessories and play up the creativity and be sure to consider the scenery when selecting your wardrobe choices.
Locations:::Think outside the box, look for open golden/green fields, old barns, antique farm equipment, bridges, orchards, brick buildings, old train cars, docks, dirt roads and southern front porches. Keep an open mind about the location and you just might surprise yourself.
