The Soon-To-Be Party of Four, The Floyd Family

Michelle Floyd has to be one of the most mellow, kind, easy going people I know.  I met her about 5 years ago at the elementary school, yes, we are both teachers.  Michelle had a lil' boy named Davis about a year before I had Wyatt so, she was the person I could gauge my motherhood experience from because at the time everyone around me was having girls.  The only baby boys I knew were Davis and Wyatt.  I thank Michelle for her gentle spirit and great advice.  Her husband, Tracy, is a true reflection of her... calm, sweet, and easy going.  You can see their love story below as they welcome their second lil' boy, Silas, this winter.

Sweet Things - The Truett Girls, December 2010

The Truett Girls, Courtney, Bekah, and Rainey are more than beautiful, they are some tough cookies :)  It was nearly 40 degrees the day of this photoshoot and they braved the elements...in dresses!  Not only did they trudge through a horse barn, they hiked through a brushy field...these are true Horry County Girls. Bekah (the older sweetie) has her mother's eyes and Rainey (the lil' sweetie) has her aunt's eyes (note Katelyn below).  Thanks for allowing me to photograph your sweet lil' family of three. -a

Merry Christmas from the Johnson Boys 2010

These sweet faces are all a part of my life. Each smile has many stories to tell.  The oldest three are my nephews. Austin is the oldest, he is smart and athletic.  Carson is next, he is an animal lover and caregiver (notice his choice of hat...a racoon).  Jacob is witty, funny and always on the go (notice his menace hat).  Wyatt is my baby and the baby of the Johnson Boys and he does whatever they do (notice how his hat matches Jacob's hat)...he looks up to those boys and talks about them every day.  On this particular weekend we were in the mountains of North Carolina and Georgia..it was cold and windy, a perfect winter day. If I had a Christmas wish it would be that they would always know, love, and look after one another for all the days of their lives. I love you boys -a

Merry Christmas Katelyn & Josh Hucks

Katelyn Hucks is a sweet, southern, country girl.  She is a doll and doesn't know a stranger.  I met her husband Josh on the day of the photoshoot and he is her perfect fit...a good ole southern boy.  Josh was a trooper and did anything I asked him to do...most guys are not that easy.  Thanks for making it a fun evening.  Ya'll are great company! -a
